Swertfeger places 7th at State gymnastics finals

Becca Swertfeger advanced to the state gymnastics meet in the bars event last weekend in Columbus, placing seventh in the finals. Congratulations to Becca and all the Turpin gymnasts who competed this season.
Gymnasts are 'Flipping in the Darke'

While most Turpin students were snuggled in their beds the Turpin Gymnastics team was headed to Darke County for the Flipping in the Darke meet on January 21. The two hour ride and the early morning paid off as the gymnasts can boast their highest team score of the season with a 118.9!

The twelve Turpin Gymnasts have been practicing extra hard over the past couple of weeks getting ready for the Centerville Quad meet on Thursday February 7! Coach Gail Maundrell challenged each girl to raise their individual scores by two tenths for this meet. She believes in this team and their hard work and dedication!
Personal Bests at the Indian Cup Meet!

Congratulations to Turpin Gymnastics Team for their strong showing at the Indian Cup at Cincinnati Country Day on January 5th. Coach Maundrell stated “a 2 week winter break plays havoc with our practice schedules” but the girls still managed to bring their score up by 3 points from the previous meet.
