Overcoming First Match Jitters...
Turpin Boys JV squads met at Madison Bowl today for their first match of the season versus Seven Hills who was represented by a single JV team. Expectations from veteran JV players were high as the stretches were completed and practice began. JV
Spartans Win Season Opener!
The girls started off the season strong with a 47-33 win over Edgewood at the Fairfield Tournament. Rachel Reichard led all scorers with 21 points and added 8 rebounds. Sophia Schiano had a big all-around night with 18 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Both players are Captains and led the way in this one.
Spartans Fall in Fairfield Tournament Championship Game
After a strong defensive first half, the Spartans were unable to hold off a determined and hot- shooting Fairfield squad, falling 51-23. Rachel Reichard led the team with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. The big home opener is Tuesday night,
