Gymnastics Moving Forward

The team competed at the 12 team Worthington Kilbourne Invitational this past Saturday . The girls saw the results of hard work in practice pays off. The teams were from all around the state so the competition was challenging. Freshmen Michelle Surette and Kat Kreimer continued to gain tenths on their scores as did Seniors Whitney Welling and Anna Grimes. Individuals placing in the top 10 were seniors Maycee Herzog with 5th on bars, 10th on beam and 7th all around. Maggie Surette placed 9th on beam. Abigail Dittmann finished 8th on beam and 5th on floor.
The team was strongly supported by freshman Sadie Robinson who is preparing to make her mark soon.
Coming up the team will be hosting 12 teams at the Turpin Tiara Invitation on Sunday January 29. Our 7 seniors will be recognized at 9:50 and competition starts at 10:00 The meet will be held at Gymnastics Central -- 8485 Broadwell Road in Newtown Admission is $5.00 adults and $4,00 seniors and students -- cash only and correct change will be appreciated .
