Gymnastics Update

The gymnastics team finally gets to say #wehadaseason - as they had their first meet on Saturday at the 12 team Country Day Cup. It was a bit different this year, but what isn't. The meet was held in 3 sessions and no fans, but online viewing available. The team made their opening statement with a win in a very tightly contested competition. It's going to be a fun competitive year.
A longstanding tradition of you are a guppie until you compete in your first high school meet was continued as freshmen Abigail Dittman, Tori Haverstraw and junior Alyssa Carney all became goldfish along with Madeline Daley from McNicholas that practices with the team .
Freshman Abigail Dittman was awarded the #Spar10 Strong gold belt for the meet a new 2021 tradition. Team highlights from the meet :
Maycee Herzog was 1 on floor and beam 2 all-around, 4 on vault
Delilah Folk was 9 on vault and 3 on floor
Elizabeth Miller was 6 on bars and 6 on beam
Abigail Dittman was 10 on beam tied 4th on floor
Alyssa Carney was tied 4 on floor
Anna Grimes was 13 all-around
