JV Soccer
The JV Boys Soccer gave a herculean effort Monday against a strong Walnut Hills team. Unfortunately, they eventually succumbed with a loss of 0-4. The game started off with Walnut Hills scoring in the 3rd minute of play and then the 24th minute to leave the half with a score of 0-2.  They then went to score again with 23 minutes to play in the second half.  A 50-50 ball challenge between Spartan's goalkeeper Daniel Lafkas and WH's striker ended with injuries. Brody Blazer came in to goal for a PK for Walnut Hills. It was missed, went high right and then Daniel somehow was able to come back into goal. Finally Walnut scored in the last few minutes with a free kick 20 yards out.
Better luck this Thursday against the Kings at 5pm on their turf. Come cheer on your Spartans.
