Spartans Follow up Queen of the Hill with Second Victory over Anderson

Turpin and Anderson battled in a close game exchanging leads before going into the bottom of the 4th tied 5-5 when Turpin scored 3 runs to take an 8-5 lead. Anderson regained the lead in the top of the 5th scoring 5 runs with the score remaining 10-8 until Turpin plated 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th to take a 12-10 lead. Turpin held Anderson hitless in the top of the 7th with Goetz striking out the leadoff batter, getting a ground ball to Ramsey at 1B, followed by a final strikeout to secure the victory. 
E Hartley started the game on the mound for Turpin and pitched 4 innings striking out 3 while allowing 5 total runs (2 earned). Allison and Goetz both pitched in relief, with Goetz closing out the game striking out 4 and allowing only 1 hit over 2 innings.
The Spartans offense was led by seniors A Hartley and Noe, who each delivered 2 hits while Noe led the team in RBIs with 3 total for the game. Freshman Laudeman also delivered a solo HR.
