Swim District Classic Recap

Posted on: January 23, 2020

Turpin Swimmers had a lot of success this past weekend (Jan. 18/19, 2020) at the “Ohio Southwest District Classics”- the Largest High School Meet in the Nation!- both at Milford’s Prelims and at St. Xavier’s Finals!!  The Spartans took 12 kids to Finals on Saturday and 14 on Sunday. They also qualified 7 out of the possible 8 relays to Finals. This shows the great depth and talents of our team. Coach Rene Contino says, “This was a great meet to tune up, just prior to heading into our championship season.”  ECC Dive Meet is Thursday, Jan. 23 @ Milford H.S.-4 pm, and the ECC Swim Meet is Saturday, Jan. 25th @ Milford H.S. -10:00 am. Come on out and see them make a slash! (hopefully the divers will not make a splash;)
