The track team was lucky enough to take not one, but two bus rides out to Ross HS for the JV and Varsity Coaches Classic meets on Wednesday and Friday.  And not to mention that Mother Nature decided to make it a longer meet on Friday by throwing in some lightning, thunder, wind and rain.  Speaking of throwing in.....how about our throwers.  And how about Gabe Hickman who once again broke a school record.  This time in the discus with a throw of 161'7".  Gabe also placed first in the shot put.  Other notable performances and point winners from both meets were:

JV
Jake Fontaine - 4th in the shot put
John Plattner - 8th in the shot put & 5th in the discus
Ethan Lupariello - 4th in the long jump & 4th in the pole vault

Varsity
Max Roberts - 8th in the 110 high hurdles & 8th in the long jump
Jack Bentley  - 3rd in the 3200m run & 4th in the 1600m run
