The Spartans were hot from the start as they cruised to a win over conference rival Lebanon.  Senior Dylan Linton started things off with a nice block and then drew the foul on the over end.  That led to the first of many successful inbounds plays from Turpin.  Senior Nathan Hayas fed fellow Senior Brady Hardewig for the quick put back and early lead.  Linton then sent a pass to Hayas for a corner 3 and Turpin was up 5-2.  Another inbounds pass from Hayas to Senior Clark Helgason pushed the lead to 7-2 and forced a Lebanon timeout.  That didn't help as Linton had a nice drive and finish before Helgason went to work.  He rattled off 9 straight points with some tough finishes in the lane, another putback on an inbounds play and a 3 of his own.  At the end of the first, Turpin held an 18-8 lead.

The second quarter started off slow and didn't see any scoring until Helgason hit a free throw about 2 minutes in.  Sophomore Shea O'Toole got into the action with a tough drive and finish through traffic to give the Spartans a 21-8 lead.  Linton followed that up with a nice steal on the defensive end that led to a putback from Hardewig.  Turpin then showed some good ball movement leading to a 3 by Hardewig.  A steal and coast to coast bucket by Hardewig pushed the Spartan lead to 28-10.  One more successful inbounds play, this time with a score by O'Toole, gave Turpin a haltime lead of 30-12.

Turpin continued their success in the second half as O'Toole hit a jumper in the lane and then took a charge on the defensive end.  Linton showed some good moves in the paint and pushed the lead to 34-14.  O'Toole hit corner 3, then Junior Tyler Barton hit a 3 of his own to record his first varsity points.  O'Toole and Helgason hit a couple shots to give Turpin a 44-19 lead.  Hardewig was fouled shooting a 3 near the end of the quarter and hit all 3.  Lebanon had a last second putback to cut the Spartan lead to 47-23.

Barton started the 4th with another 3 and then Senior Alex Meyer drained a 3 of his own in the corner.  Hardewig sent a great pass to Hayas for the layin push the lead to 55-30.  Hardewig had the next 4 points with a long 2 and a pair of free throws.  Linton showed a nice spin move down low to give Turpin a 61-33 lead.  Hardewig came back with another long jumper inside the arc.  Hayas then drove through traffic in the lane, got the and 1, and Spartans were able to celebrate.  Sophomore Isaac Hooper completed the scoring with a nice drive and scoop for his first varsity points.  The game ends with a 68-37 Spartan victory.
