Turpin JV Golf Remains King of the Hill

Turpin Boys JV Golf finished up their season strong with some big victories among a 6-1 finish. In a win vs Little Miami at Ivy Hills, Jr. Ben McGrew led with a 37, supported by Jr. Scottie Nimmo’s 38.

Visiting Blue Ash GC, Soph. Nate Hayas stood out from the pack with a stellar 38, earning Turpin the four stroke victory over Sycamore 174-178.
Then, hosting St. X at Ivy Hills, the Spartans bested the Tigers 159-161 thanks to a great 35 from Nimmo.Turning around with a trip to South Trace GC, Turpin thoroughly handled Fairfield, led by Hayas’s 40.

In the annual King of the Hill, Turpin maintained its spot at the top with a victory over Anderson and McNick at 157-178-209 respectively, at Stillmeadow GC. Sophomores Alex Meyer (38) and Blake Nosal (39) were the low guys.
Finally, Nimmo (39) and the Spartans put together a good performance but fell to host St. X 166-168 at Hyde Park CC to finish the year 32-8 against a mix of varsity and JV opponents.
