This past week had a little of something for everyone.

Our JV athletes braved a freaky spring snow storm at McNick.  Check out the attached photo.  Hats off to all who participated there.  They'll never forget that they raced in a snow storm.

Varsity took on 22 other teams at the Anderson Invitational and finished in a strong 3rd position losing to Loveland and Mason.  That improves our record to 45-6 on the season.  Notable performances came from:
Max Roberts - 4th in the 110m high hurdles and anchoring our 4th place 800m relay team.
Paul Signorelli - 1st in the 110m high hurdles, long jump and pole vault.  And Paul's vault of 15'6" broke Turpin's record.  I didn't get a pic of that, but I was able to get one of him staring down a 5m attempt.
Zach Johnson - PR'ed in the 200m and qualified for finals in the 100m and 400m dash.
Our 3200m relay team of Cooper Davidson, Hayden Jump, Zander Peminidis, and Noah Yamaguchi placed 5th
Ethan Clifford PR'ed in the 300m intermediate hurdles
Gus Harpring PR'ed in the 200m dash
Gabe Asbury placed 3rd in the shot
Mitchell Knarr placed 6th in the shot and PR'ed by 2'
Our 800m relay team of Diego Velazquez, Noah Biederman, Donovan Hice, and Max Roberts placed 4th
Jack Bentley finished 6th in the 1600m run
Noah Yamaguchi PR'ed in the 1600m run
Both Cooper Davidson and Shane Barrett PR'ed in the 800m run with Cooper placing 6th overall.
Zander Peminidis enjoyed getting his feet wet and placing 5th in the 3000m steeplechase.
Our 1600m relay team of Jack Bentley, Cooper Davidson, Ethan Clifford and Donovan Hice placed 5th.
Jarin Ter Horst PR'ed in the high jump
And Gabe Hickman won the discus throw with Gabe Asbury placing 3rd.
With Paul Signorelli winning the pole vault and long jump he earned "field event athlete of the meet" and has been named Turpin boy's track athlete of the week.

This week our JV team will host McNick, Ryle and Walnut Hills on Tuesday while most of our varsity will compete in the Loveland Invitational on Friday.
